From April 17 traffic is banned on Georgian roads

The decision to ban the movement of cars in Georgia was made by the government because of the threat of the spread of coronavirus. The statement was made on April 16 at a special briefing by Advisor to the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Chikovani.

“Tomorrow from noon for the duration of the state of emergency, that is, until April 21 inclusive, the country completely prohibits movement of cars,” Chikovani said.

Restrictions do not apply to trucks and cargo vehicles.
