Batumi and Kutaisi will be opened tommorow

Batumi and Kutaisi will open its entry and exit tomorrow, May 5, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia announced this at a government meeting today.

As the head of government noted, at this stage Tbilisi and Rustavi remain closed. The prime minister did not rule out that these cities would be open by the end of the week.

“From tomorrow, all kinds of restrictions on movement will be lifted in Batumi and Kutaisi. Appropriate decisions will be made concerning Tbilisi and Rustavi in ​​the coming days. This is directly related to the epidemiological situation in the surrounding areas. Let’s hope that the issue will be resolved positively by the end of the week,” Gakharia said.

Entry and exit to Tbilisi, Rustavi, Batumi and Kutaisi have been banned since April 15.
