Baku police have started monitoring streets as an additional measure in preventing the mass spread of coronavirus by a decision of operational headquarters, created by the cabinet of ministers of Azerbaijan.
According to the press service of the Main Directorate of Police, on Sunday as part of activities to prevent the spread of coronavirus citizens have been ordered to stay at home. Citizens who will not have special permission to leave their place of living, measures will be taken in accordance with the law.
During supervision regarding the fulfilment of the quarantine regime in Baku, more than 500 cars were pulled over on Sunday, 21 violations of the quarantine regime have been detected.
