Field hospital built at the Georgian-Russian border

На грузино-российской границе установлен полевой госпиталь

At the Upper Lars checkpoint on the Georgian-Russian border, a field hospital has been built.

Military doctors will check the health status of everyone who crosses the border. If a person has a fever or other symptoms that indicate possible infection with coronavirus, he will be placed in a field hospital. Later, the patient will be transferred to a medical facility.

Georgia closed the border with Russia on March 16.

Exceptions are allowed for citizens who return home and for truck drivers. Cargo transportation between the two countries is carried out without changes.
