Minister of Justice of Georgia: notary bureaus will gradually resume work

Notary bureaus will gradually resume work as they will be equipped with infrared thermometers, says Georgian Minister of Justice Thea Tsulukiani.

“This morning we opened three notary offices in Rustavi (Kvemo Kartli), Gori (Shida Kartli) and Tbilisi on Tsereteli Avenue,” Tsulukiani said.

Currently, a limited number of bureaus operate in the country. According to the head of the Ministry of Justice, as soon as the Notary Chamber receives necessary equipment in the required quantity, other notary offices will resume their work.

“We cannot get around the Center for Disease Control and its strict recommendations, notaries can not accept citizens who have not been scanned in advance,” said Tsulukiani.

According to the minister, the notaries that are currently operating do have infrared thermometers.
