The state of emergency in Georgia is extended until May 10, and the rules are more strict, said Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia at the special briefing on Tuesday.
From the evening of April 15, four large cities are closing in Georgia — a ban on entry and exit will affect Tbilisi, Rustavi, Batumi and Kutaisi.
“We will appeal to the president so that parliament extends the state of emergency until May 10,” Gakharia said.
“We can say that the country has moved to complete internal spread, on basis of that, it is impossible to predict a peak,” the prime minister said.
