A 50-year-old woman died as a result of a shooting in the centre of Tbilisi on Vazha-Pshavela Avenue.
Presumably, she was killed by an accidental shot.
The woman was in her apartment when a bullet pierced a windowpane and the landlady received a gunshot wound.
An employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia was detained, who is accused of negligence killing.
The investigation established that the shot was fired by a policeman living in the neighbouring building. The drunk man fired several shots from the balcony of his apartment.
Experts examined the scene. Cartridges and firearms were seized.
