Starting May 11, all productions and enterprises will be open throughout Georgia, Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said at a meeting of the Georgian government on May 7, which was held in the form of an economic council.
He recalled that since May 5, construction companies and companies, enterprises for the production of building materials and car washes have opened in Georgia.
“From Monday, May 11, all enterprises will start operating, including all wholesale and retail stores that have street entrance and which do not sell clothes and shoes. This does not apply to large shopping centres and malls,” the prime minister explained.
These objects will be able to resume work in compliance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, and citizens will be required to keep social distance, practise hygiene rules and wear protective masks, Gakharia reminded. According to him, masks and social distance for a long time will remain part of the everyday life of citizens.
